The PA5 unit covers the use of boat mounted sprayers for use in watercourses; streams, rivers, ponds, lakes, etc.

NPTC Level 2 Award for Pesticide Application unit, popular with the Environment Agency and partners for controlling aquatic weed species that choke waterways.

Bulrushes, water lilies, Parrot Feather and other invasive species require treatment with pesticides.

Please note:'Cost is for training only. Pesticide Assessments are held and invoiced separately to the training.'

Candidates should be confident in a small boat, familiar with simple boat engines and controls.

• Course attendance requires aquatic safety equipment.
• Boat & sprayer supplied for training and assessment if required (Location: Spalding, LINCS).
